TITLE: Child Nutrition Services Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Certification(s) in School Food Service
- High degree of proficiency in computer skills
- Three years of experience in a food service job
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO: Director of Child Nutrition Services
JOB GOAL: To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school cafeteria for the health, comfort, and benefit of the students.
PEFORMANCE RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Plans and directs the preparation and service of all food in the cafeteria .
- Assumes responsibility for the security of food and supplies.
- Supervises the storage and care of foods and supplies.
- Assumes responsibility for the security of revenue from cafeteria services.
- Supervises and participates in the preparation and service of food.
- Oversees and participates in the cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas.
- Keeps employee time records.
- Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
- Completes required reports, forms, and other paperwork.
- Assumes responsibility for checking the working condition of all cafeteria equipment and notifies the appropriate authority when repairs or replacements are needed.
- Performs other duties consistent with the position as may be requested.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
190 Day. Salary and work schedule to be established by the Board.
